WHY DID EBAY BAN DIGITAL PRODUCTS WITH ONLY 7-DAY NOTICE?

I am so very saddened by eBay’s abrupt discontinuance of their Digital Delivery System and permitting digital products listing on Classified Ad Formats only.

This display of insensible, selfish, indifferent, callous, heartless, unfeeling, and hardhearted corporate action from a Public Company based in the United States of America, is deplorable.

What has corporate America really become?

It is so very difficult to understand why eBay would without warning advise sellers that their income will end with only a notice from March 25, 2008 to March 31, 2008.

Being in disagreement with a policy change is not the issue. The concern is the time allowable to switch from listing 100’s if not 1000’s of digital items.

I am in amazement and astonishment that eBay would implement a policy change including the enforcement by ending sellers listing with so little lead-time.

This is shocking! It is hurtful eBay would knowingly position so many sellers out of business in so short a period.

There is a presence of evil in their display of disinterest.

What is 7 days notice? They dropped an explosive bomb with lack of sympathy and concern to their community members.

Making policy changes is one matter; however, making those changes knowing they were putting 100’s of people out of business is devastating.

In all my understanding of decency and consideration to business , trades, occupation and source of incomes; I am in trepidation over eBay’s pressing need to  implement a policy that devastates so many people without prior warning and availability to find safety from the bomb dropped. In other words, a minimum of 25-day notice would have been destruction enough!

Evil begets evil….
